Managing Director

The Faces Behind ACW’s Success

Akshat Goyal
A seasoned leader with over a decade of experience across people and culture strategy, industrial and employee relations (IR/ER), and organisational development, Akshat leads the HR function with a comprehensive understanding of workforce management which plays a pivotal role in driving ACW’s people-first approach.
Manages the entire HR department as a standalone function, overseeing not only HR but also Quality Assurance (QA) and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) ensuring all facets of compliance and operational excellence are met.
Works closely with leadership to align HR initiatives with ACW’s strategic objectives, ensuring both operational efficiency and a cohesive workplace culture.
Brings a well-rounded approach to managing workforce relations, compliance, and continuous improvement, supporting the long-term success of the organisation. His strategic insight into IR/ER and his collaborative approach ensure the organisation adapts and thrives in a dynamic business environment, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and employee wellbeing.

Ange Tsakalis
Ange, our VIC State Operations Manager, brings over two decades of experience in hospitality, management, and operations, with a legendary focus on customer satisfaction. As a skilled and diplomatic problem solver, he ensures our team consistently meets QA standards, proactively addressing any issues to maintain excellence.
Ange meticulously reviews all site reports each month, following up with the State Operations Team if any site rating drops below 7.5 within 24 hours in our CMS. He is immediately notified of any issues raised by clients or team members, ensuring a quick response and resolution.
You’ll see Ange quarterly for both formal site audits and informal check-ins, making sure everything is running smoothly. Having joined us in March 2020 after his role as National Operations Director at TGI Fridays, Ange is a trusted and invaluable asset to our team, ensuring our clients receive top-notch service and support.

Daniel Puopolo
Before joining ACW, Daniel ran his own business as a qualified painter. Daniel has led SA operations for 6 years, and has been an integral part of ACW’s growth there.
Daniel oversees the team at every site and is your first point of contact if you have any site-related queries. He also conducts monthly audits, files site reports in our online CMS, and is responsible for maintaining a high standard of quality and service delivery. He is also responsible for performing risk assessment and finalising each site’s SWMS, new site inductions, training staff and ensuring sites and workers are compliant with OH&S guidelines.
